Best of the ETUDES Library
Whether it’s your first time logging in, or you’ve been around awhile, you’re undoubtedly going to want to search our expansive music library and put it to use right away.
To help you get the most out of everything the ETUDES Music Library has to offer, we’ve put together this handy guide which will take you through some of the best features you may or may not have been aware of when you signed up.
So without further adieu, here’s a list of the top features of our ETUDES Library, and how to make the most of them…
Search
Without question, the ETUDES library contains the most powerful music search engine in the world.. but you may not be aware of all it can do.
To get the full picture, try searching by EXACT techniques (i.e. slurs, tremolo, or “p,i,m arpeggios”, etc); Or, you might try searching for a specific composer, era, style, form, key signature, meter, or simply any keyword.
Interactive Sheet Music
Each piece in our library (with a few exceptions) includes our interactive sheet music and video player, which allows you to not just read the music, but to play along with it.

Suffice it to say for now though: You’re gonna wanna spend a LOT more time with your sheet music from now on. And so will your students.
Ai-Powered Recommendation Engine
No, this is not a gimmick! And yes, our “Related Etudes” feature really is powered by ground-breaking Ai and machine learning technology.
The secret is that for every piece in our library, the Ai compares it to every other piece, then makes closely related suggestions based on pre-defined criteria such as techniques, difficulty, and other data points.
Use this tool as a music discovery engine, and you’ll find yourself with an endless supply of relevant music to learn.
History & Theory Context For Every Piece
The ETUDES library wouldn’t be a true music library without context. Thanks to some nifty technology, our app brings in relevant historical and theory context to accompany every piece.
Concise Technique Demos & Exercise Videos
Last but certainly not least, we come to one of our favorite features of the library: Technique demo and exercise videos for every piece!
Unlike any other platform, these technique videos aren’t meant to tell you how to play the piece, but offer 1-2 minute explanations of the techniques required to play the piece, plus exercises to help you master them.
It truly is a thing of beauty… don’t you agree? 😉
So, there you have it – 5 of the Best Features from our Library. If you’re new or just haven’t experienced the app in a while, give these features a try. We think you’ll love it as much as we do.
